iTunes: find all missing / broken / dead tracks #
That is, those which should display an exclamation point:
- Make a playlist called "Good" and copy your entire library into it.
- Make a smart playlist called "Bad" with two rules: "Playlist is Music" and "Playlist is not Good" (uncheck the "Live updating" option).
- "Bad" will display all dead tracks.
- Delete if desired: Edit > Select All > Option+Del (Mac) or Shift+Del (Win).
