Obtaining previous versions of Mac OS X #

To their credit, Apple still offers Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion for sale (though the delivery channels seem rather quaint and antiquated):

Glad to see 10.6 is still available (albeit unmaintained).

Apparently, joining the Mac Developer Program ($99/year) is another way to obtain previous versions:

Advice from an Apple Tech: BitTorrent and older OS X installation discs, revisited - Apple does keep out-of-print OS X installation disc images available via its developer download page, which requires a fee of $99 per year.
Obtaining previous versions of Mac OS X for testing - The old versions are there ... starting from 10.5. Another user reports that 10.7 and 10.8 were nowhere to be found.
