Fix for HP Touchpad tinny sound issue #

The HP Touchpad suffers from an intermittent audio bug that turns the pleasing strains of your favorite music into a cacophony of scratchy, tinny sounds. Restarting the device restores normal audio, but also causes a major loss of groove during the intervening minute and a half. PulseAudio Restarter does not seem to address the issue.

However, it turns out that there is a magic key combination that fixes the issue instantly. As improbable as it may sound to long-suffering Touchpad owners, here is the process:
  1. Press Power button to turn off display
  2. Press and hold the Center button
  3. Press and hold both sides of the Volume button
  4. Press and hold the Power button
  5. After a few seconds, let go of all buttons
  6. Presto! Audio is restored
