Slipstreaming OS X updates #

into clean system images that can be restored to blank drives:

DeployStudio creates and restores custom disk images.
InstaDMG "creates clean, never-booted ASR images for deploying MacOS X". Tutorial
NetRestore method uses Apple's System Image Utility included with the free Server Admin Tools.
PSU Blast Image Config supports OS X versions from 10.2.2(!) to 10.7 and "restores asr-ready disk images created with various tools: Apple Disk Utility and System Image Utility, InstaDMG, etc."

or into new bootable installer disc images:
